NAK said about possible sabotage on the pipeline in the Crimea

The national antiterrorist Committee (NAK) reported that in the Crimea was damaged a gas pipeline, does not rule out the diversion. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the NAC.

“Yesterday around 20:00 on the gas station, located near the village Vine city district of Alushta, Republic of Crimea, there was a noticeable decrease in gas pressure. Simultaneously, the stopped supply of electricity in connection with the fall of electric poles,” — said the NAC.

During the inspection of the scene it was discovered external damage to pipeline. Now, according to the NAC, considering all possible versions, including a diversion at the facility.

In August it became known about the detention by the FSB on the Peninsula agent of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU), suspected of preparing acts of sabotage in the region. According to Russian intelligence services, sabotage acts prepared “against infrastructure and life support of the Peninsula”.

In 2016, the FSB detained in the Crimea two Ukrainian subversive groups. According to investigators, employees of the main intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian defense Ministry was planning to arrange a series of explosions on the civilian infrastructure of the Peninsula on the black sea fleet. Andrew Tahta and Evgeny Panov was arrested in August, and Dmitry Shtyblikov, Alex Bessarabov and Vladimir Dudko in November.
