The majority of Russian workers satisfied with work, social scientists have found

Among the Russian workers 80% were satisfied with their jobs as poll of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM), more than half do not want to change; experts are inclined partly to explain that the existing economic problems, in connection with which people were more likely to have thoughts about changing jobs.
According to the polls, “the level of job satisfaction among workers remains high — 80%”. And even among respondents with poor, according to their estimates, financial situation, over half (56%) are satisfied with it, noted in the materials survey, which is available to RIA Novosti.
Dissatisfaction with their work expressed by 18% of respondents, according to polls, was the lowest figure since 2004 when the proportion was over a quarter of Russians (29%).
“To remain at its present location ready 52% of employed Russians (in the crisis of 2009 and 2014, those percentages were highest — 54% and 57% respectively)”, — stated in the materials survey.
The main motive for those who would like to change jobs, throughout the measurement period remains a financial issue — low wages complained 20%.
“In second place among the reasons for a job change, first came the desire to start a business (7%), while dissatisfaction with the excessively hard work (6%) and no hope for career advancement (5%) moved to the third and fourth places. Approximately the same number of employees (5%) are afraid not to earn a decent pension,” said the sociologists.
Another 3% of workers pushing for change of job dissatisfaction of the current informal employment of “gray” wages.
“The reason for the improvement of evaluations of personal employment situation — economic problems in the country: the more complex the situation in the economy, the less there are thoughts about changing jobs, reduced the level of claims, especially in terms of salary, increasing overall loyalty to their organization,” — said the head of the practice of political analysis and consulting VTSIOM Mikhail Mamonov, commenting on the survey results.
However, the expert said, the level of potential labor mobility in Russia has never been high, “the Russians cherish their place of work”.
