The ex-wife of businessman Akhmedov got a boat worth $492 million
Moscow. April 19. INTERFAX.RU a London Court ordered the Russian businessman Farkhad Akhmedov to transfer the ownership of ex-wife Tatiana yacht worth $492 million in the divorce process, reported on Thursday by Bloomberg.
According to judge Charles Haddon-cave, this decision is dictated by the fact that Akhmedov was trying to hide from the court that it owns a 115-meter yacht, named Luna. The businessman had bought it from Roman Abramovich in 2014.
The judge noted that during the divorce process Akhmedov tried to hide his assets “in the web of offshore companies.”
Currently, the yacht is in dry dock in Dubai. It has two helipads, a 20-metre pool, eight small boats and a mini submarine.
Previously, the Supreme court in London has awarded the Akhmedova $646 million in cash compensation in the divorce process.
