USA explained the reasons for the collection of biological material of the Russians. The request of the American air force on the acquisition of samples for scientific research originally did not concern Russia, told TASS employee of the press service of the U.S. air force Ann Stefanek.
According to the contract published on 19 July on the website of public procurement of the United States, the air force office looking for suppliers 12 RNA samples and 27 samples of synovial fluid necessary for joint function. The request did not indicate where should occur the biomaterial.
Since the seller is based in the United States, provided the samples obtained from people of Russian origin, to continue the research, took a similar biomaterial.
The studies themselves dealt with by the center for molecular studies of the 59th medical group, associated with the study of the musculoskeletal system.

I can’t find here no malice. I think, after all this was done for scientific research. We must understand that 12 samples is not enough. On the basis of 12 samples of RNA it is impossible to make any far-reaching conclusions about the population as a whole — is too small a sample.
