Rogozin told the Assembly the world’s most powerful “king engine”
The head of the Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, announced the first Assembly of the RD-171МВ for the new Russian rocket “Soyuz-5” (“Irtysh”).
“The first RD-171 engine-MV for the newest rocket of the middle class Soyuz-5 “Irtysh” assembled at Moscow NPO “Energomash” and prepares to fire tests. Power it has no equal in the world,” he wrote on Twitter.

According to Rogozin, the RD-171 engines will be deeply modernized, then will have new unique features. “This is the most powerful engine in the world, we call it the “King engine”,” — said Rogozin reporters in July 2018 (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).
Rocket “Soyuz-5” developed in Russia in the future to replace the Ukrainian “Zenith”. She can withdraw into a low orbit of up to 17 tonnes of cargo.
