Kadyrov urged to bury Lenin
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov called for the burial of Vladimir Lenin, calling the decision the most correct from a historical point of view. According to him, it is wrong when “in the heart of Russia, red square, stands the coffin with the dead man.”
“To solve the issue of the burial of Lenin must, of course, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. But I am personally convinced that pretty to stare at the corpse of Lenin. And the leader of the revolution, it’s time to bury, this reasonable and humane,” wrote Mr Kadyrov in the Telegram. He noted that “over the body of Lenin employs a scientific-research Institute” and “next to his body on duty hour security”.
Ramzan Kadyrov stressed that the decision on disposal must not be selective. “To betray the earth as the body of Lenin and a Naib of Imam Shamil, Hadji-Murat, whose head is still kept in the Museum of Saint-Petersburg”, — said the head of Chechnya.
The question of burial of the body of Vladimir Lenin is discussed in society for many years. In April, a group of deputies from fractions of LDPR and “United Russia” in the Duma introduced a bill providing for burial. Later, however, United Russia withdrew its signature under the bill. The Communists believe that the discussion about the removal of Lenin’s body from the Mausoleum imposed on society in order to distract his attention from the real issues.
Yesterday, the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko did not rule out a referendum on the burial. October 27, with the proposal “to remove the body of Lenin” in red square were made by Ksenia Sobchak. “I believe that the Ages in which we now fail, this, in particular, because in the XXI century we are on the main square of the country lies the corpse of a man,” explained Ms. Sobchak.
