The polls, which the citizens of France will vote in the first round of elections in the country’s Parliament, opened on Sunday morning in the French metropolis. French voters have to choose the 577 deputies of the lower house of Parliament — the National Assembly of the country for more than 7.8 thousand applicants. The start of the voting was given at 08.00 a.m. Paris time (09.00 GMT), it will last till 18.00 (19.00 GMT). In some cities, a decision of the local authorities the time of opening or closing sections can be shifted, but the last part should be closed to voters not later than 20.00 (21.00 GMT).
