Bicycle Parking installed on Thursday in St. George’s lane near the building of the state Duma. In addition, the building of the lower house of Parliament hosted a Bicycle rental service.
“This initiative will help to improve the physical condition of the deputies and civil servants of the state Duma and, as a consequence, improve their health, and will also reduce the burden on Parking infrastructure,” — said a member of the Duma Committee on physical culture, sport, tourism and youth Affairs Dmitry Svishchev.
According to the MP, ” creating Bicycle Parking spaces near the buildings of the state Duma will be a logical continuation of the policy of the Moscow government aimed at the development of Cycling transport and will contribute to the further development of Cycling in the city.”
