In the Crimea and Sevastopol to restore electricity in full
MOSCOW, Aug 7 — RIA Novosti. Electricity to the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol, where the temporary disconnection has more than 108 thousand people were without power, restored in full, informs the Ministry of energy on its website.
Earlier on Monday the Ministry reported that the energy introduced in the Crimea schedules of temporary disconnection of power consumption. In particular, August 7, to 20.22 20.41 (GMT) managers gave the command to the input of schedules of temporary disconnection of consumption to total value of 70 MW. Without an electricity remained more than 108 thousand people in the Crimea and Sevastopol.
The energy Ministry later said that the reason for the shutdown was “a high consumption of electrical power during high ambient temperature”. So, in the Crimea for several days the temperature reaches 40 degrees, residents use air conditioning.
“At 22.25 after passing the evening peak load is enabled all users disabled by MILOC, electricity consumers in the Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol is restored in full”, — notes the Agency.
