It includes 20 individuals, 12 organizations and three aircraft. In particular, measures will be introduced against Dmitry Lukashenko, the middle son of the President of Belarus, who manages sports projects. Among the legal entities against whom the sanctions are being imposed are potash producers, the air carrier Transaviaexport, the presidential sports club and the tour operator Tsentrkurort.
That the United States, in cooperation with the European Union, is preparing an additional package of sanctions against Belarus , US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said earlier. According to him, the measures will be introduced in connection with the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, for the escalation of which Alexander Lukashenko is personally blamed.
According to the European authorities, in exchange for resolving the crisis, the Belarusian leader demands to recognize the legitimacy of his power. and also lift all Western sanctions against Belarus.
