Secretary of State Blinken discussed with French Foreign Minister Le Drian the situation on the Ukrainian border
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and French Foreign Minister Jean- Drian discussed during a telephone conversation the situation on the border of Russia and Ukraine. This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the head of the press service of the US State Department, Ned Price.
The statement clarifies that the conversation between Blinken and Le Drian took place on Saturday, November 13.
The Secretary of State and The French minister discussed reports of “worrying Russian military activity in and around Ukraine and their continued commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.” Price also added that during the conversation, Blinken and Le Drian discussed joint efforts to find a solution to Iran's nuclear program.
Previously, Price said that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau. Price said in a statement that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is diverting attention from Russia's actions on the border with Ukraine with the help of the migration crisis.
