Deputy of Rada Kucherenko: Zelensky's words speak of his inadequate perception of the situation
“Batkivshchyna” Oleksiy Kucherenko doubted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy adequately perceives the situation in the country. He expressed his doubts on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, from the calls of the head of state to the oligarchs not to play in the “artificial shortage” of energy resources and other statements on this topic, it becomes fearfully”. The deputy noted that he did not want to belittle anyone, but advised the head of state to “chase” his advisers if they recommended such a speech to him. “This is not the speech of the president, who adequately perceives the situation in the country,” the parliamentarian stressed.
Kucherenko also said that this whole situation is a continuation of the show “intimidate everyone” and “there are doctors around.” Even Zelensky's advisers are afraid to tell the head of state the truth about the problems in the energy sector, he added.
In addition, the deputy recalled that 90 percent of the capacities of thermal power plants in Ukraine, owned by the state, are now idle.
It is noted that before that Zelensky recorded a video message in which he urged the oligarchs not to play “artificial shortage” of energy resources and threatened them with a “hellish period”. He also said that reports of shortages of coal and gas in Ukraine are artificially “inflated”.
