In most cases, twins have the same birthday. But a couple of babies from California will have not only different days, but also different years recorded in the documents.
Little Alfredo Trujillo was born on December 31, 2021 at 23:45 at the Natividad Medical Center in Salinas. But his twin sister Eileen appeared exactly at midnight on January 1, 2022, according to UPI.
The twins’ mother Fatima Madrigal said she was surprised and glad that Eileen was born at midnight. “For me, it’s something unimaginable: they are twins, but they have different birthdays,” she told KNTV-TV. The twins have three older brothers and sisters — two girls and a boy.
The chances that twins will be born on different days in different years is about one in 2 million, statistics say.
