Saakashvili stopped receiving treatment in protest

Former Georgian President Saakashvili was punished for hitting medical equipment, he stopped receiving treatment the military hospital in Gori, where he was previously transferred from the prison hospital. This was reported on his Facebook page.

The politician explained that he decided to protest due to disciplinary measures imposed in the form of restrictions on meetings and deprivation of the opportunity to watch TV. According to him, he was punished after a video appeared on the network in which he hits medical equipment, to which they tried to connect him without his consent. He clarified that the reaction of the jailers followed after the Service of the State Inspector of Georgia fined the Ministry of Justice of the republic and the Special Penitentiary Service for posting that video that violates the law “On the Protection of Personal Data” ..

As a result, Saakashvili said , the mother who came to him was kept on the street for four hours and was not allowed to see her. His attending physician Nikoloz Kipshidze was also unable to see him, but after the intervention of the hospital administration, the doctor was still allowed to visit the patient.

On November 25, Saakashvili threatened to refuse the pills if the parliament members of the republic were not allowed to the hospital. He expressed indignation that Georgian parliamentarians had not been allowed to see him for a week, and complained that the employees of the State Security Service of the republic were “terrorizing” local doctors by searching and interrogating them.
