Mansi living in the north of the Sverdlovsk region got the opportunity to master the profession driving schools. This is reported by Znak.

The head of the public relations and social policy department of the Ural branch of Polymetal Pavel Sennikov said that the company, in cooperation with the administration of the Ivdel city district and the social organization “Social assistance and support of the Ivdel Mansi” gave the representatives of the indigenous minorities the opportunity to master the profession and find work in the future.

“We talked with the Mansi and realized that young people often have a problem with education in professional educational institutions. This year we have found an opportunity to help them get a profession, “Sennikov said.

It is noted that about 130 Mansi live in the north of the Sverdlovsk region, half of whom lead a traditional way of life. In such families, children finish 9 or 11 grades, and then return to their native settlements to their parents.

Now Mansi can not only be trained to become professional drivers, but also take intensive courses in the specialty “locksmith” electrician”. Some young people are already studying in vocational education institutions in Severouralsk, Krasnoturinsk, Yugorsk, and one of the representatives of the people entered the Pedagogical Institute in St. Petersburg.
