The Russian was sentenced to 15 years for the murder of a former classmate out of debt

In the Urals, a Russian who had buried an acquaintance because of a debt of 500 rubles was sentenced to 15 years

27-year-old Sergei Aserkhlitsyn, who, together with an accomplice, kidnapped and buried an acquaintance alive because of a debt of 500 rubles. This was announced on Tuesday, December 7, to Lente.ru by the official representative of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR in the Sverdlovsk Region, Alexander Shulga.

The man was found guilty under Articles 126 (“Abduction of a person committed by a group of persons”) and 105 (“Murder involving kidnapping, committed by a group of persons”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, on the night of July 3, 2016, the defendant, together with an accomplice, kidnapped a former classmate from the city of Karpinsk, who owed him 500 rubles. The young man was pushed into the trunk and taken to the forest near the village of Sosnovka. On the spot Aserkhlitsyn and the second defendant in the case, threatening with murder and beating the kidnapped, forced him to dig his own grave. The victim dug a small hole and refused to continue digging. Then the perpetrators beat him again and made him finish what he had started.

Then the defendant hit the victim on the head with a truncheon several times. After that, he threw it into a pit and covered it with earth, blocking access to air. As a result, the debtor died.

Having learned about the disappearance of the young man, law enforcement officers began to study his circle of contacts. During the investigation, the police found out that on the eve of the incident, the man communicated with the defendant and his accomplice.

The accomplice in the crime died during the investigation of the case. In this regard, he was not prosecuted.
