“This, of course, is a great honor. It is clear that it is not easy to accept the “Formula”. Large investments are coming, both from the budget of the Leningrad region, and we are counting on federal investments. 2023 is the year of the arrival of Formula 1 and we must approach this with such a good team of a good entity, “said Alexander Drozdenko.
The Governor emphasized that within the framework of improving the infrastructure for holding the Formula 1 stage the railway station in the village of Sosnovo and the platform “69 km” were repaired. Also, to increase the transport accessibility of the Igora Drive autodrome, the construction of new and reconstruction of existing interchanges, the arrangement of circular traffic on highways, the reconstruction of railway stations, the arrangement of parking lots and access roads are envisaged.
