The creators of the film “Choi” were asked to initiate a criminal case

The creators of the film “Tsoi” were accused of falsifying evidence release of the film directed by Alexei Uchitel “Tsoi”. This was reported on Tuesday, December 7, by the Telegram-channel “Caution, novosti”.

It is noted that the lawyer Alexander Nikolaev, the representative of Viktor Tsoi's son, turned to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Preobrazhenskoye district of Moscow. The accusatory statement on falsification of evidence says that the picture illegally uses photographs of Viktor Elizarov, who worked as a staff photographer for Lenkontsert. The relatives of the late rocker said that the staff of the Rock Films Teacher's film studio, the creators of the film about Tsoi, forged documents giving them the right to use Elizarov's works.

The applicants rely on the expert's handwriting opinion that the signature is under the agreement with the Rock Films studio executed not by Elizarov, but by another person. Tsoi's heirs asked to initiate a criminal case under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – 303 (“Falsification of evidence”) and 327 (“Use of a knowingly forged document”).

In September it became known that the Moscow City Court refused to compensate for moral damage to his son Victor Tsoi to Alexander. Previously, he claimed that the authors of the film “Choi” used previously unpublished photographs of their father without permission.
