The average rental price in the Moscow region, excluding elite offers, is 60-120 thousand rubles. Often, guests can use the sauna, karaoke, billiards, hookah and sports equipment: skis, sledges, ice skates. Luxury cottages offer a wider variety of entertainment options, from a spa with a pool to a movie theater and snowmobiling and ATV rides.

At the same time, in some cases, the rent may cost more than the originally indicated amount. Many landlords take a security deposit of 20-50 thousand rubles, which is not refundable if the property is damaged. In addition, additional entertainment options such as baths, saunas and spa treatments are often available at an additional cost. You will also have to pay extra for the number of guests, the number of whom exceeds the agreed one.

The rise in rental prices compared to previous years is due to the increased demand. The popularity of home rentals for the New Year has grown by 20 percent compared to 2020 and by 30 percent compared to the pre-crisis year of 2019. Market participants also noted the growth in demand. Tatyana Maksimova, head of the suburban real estate department at Inkom-real estate, said that citizens prefer to celebrate the New Year in Russia due to restrictions due to the pandemic that interfere with travel. Even the options available for travel do not inspire confidence due to the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, which can unpredictably affect plans.
