The Russian stock market opened with the growth of the main stock indexes on Tuesday, December 7, after a strong fall the day before. At the opening of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, the Mosbirzh index climbed to 3860.85 points (plus 1.33 percent), the RTS index – up to 1642.28 points (plus 1.25 percent).

Out of 15 ” blue chips ”of the Moscow Exchange at 10:05 Moscow time, only MTS turned out to be in the red, which will soon leave the base for calculating the elite index (minus 0.24 percent, 293.15 rubles per share). The most significant gains were made in the securities of TCS Group (plus 2.81 percent to RUB 6,866.4 per share), Sberbank (plus 1.43 percent to RUB 311.91) and Surgutneftegaz (plus 1.38 percent to RUB 39.345 ).

Oil continued to rise in price, but has not yet reached the level of mid-November. At 10:10 Moscow time, Brent is trading at $ 74.06 per barrel (plus 1.34 percent), WTI is trading at $ 70.64 (plus 1.65 percent).
