In the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region, law enforcement officers searched two country houses on the territory of the elite cottage village Madison Park, registered in the name of the brother of Ivan Gromov, suspected of embezzling 250 million rubles. This was reported on Tuesday, December 7, by the information portal “Fontanka”.

On December 7, it became known about the detention of the former head of the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg, Ivan Gromov. A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Fraud”).

Recall that on December 6, Ivan Gromov resigned from the post of head of the district administration at his own request. His request was granted. He was in charge of the Kalininsky district for 25 days, and earlier for five years he was the head of the administration of the Petrogradsky district.
