Building exploded in France

An explosion occurred in the French commune of Sanary-sur-Mer, five people were trapped under the rubble

three-storey building. This was reported by BFM TV.

According to the information of the firefighters who arrived at the scene, five people were under the rubble. Rescue workers said the explosion could have been due to a gas leak. To eliminate the consequences of the explosion, 70 firefighters and two fire trucks were mobilized.

According to the rescuers, the people trapped under the rubble are one child and four adults. Four more victims were taken to the hospital by ambulances. “A security perimeter was established around the site of the disaster, the gas was cut off and a building located in the immediate vicinity was evacuated,” the local administration reported.

On December 6, an explosion occurred in the Shad Abad area in the southwest of the Iranian capital Tehran and large-scale gas pipeline fire. It is believed that the explosion could have been caused by damage to the pipe during repair work. Information about the victims was not provided, representatives of the Tehran Gas Company claim that there are none.
