According to the newspaper, a native of Georgia lost his thief's crown at the will of former associates of the chief thief in law of Azerbaijan Nadir Salifov ( Guli). The corresponding “run” (thief's message) of criminal authorities was spread in Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, where Zviad Tbilissky had influence on criminals.
Ozmanov was accused of buying two apartments in Moscow and a house in Turkey at the expense of money, collected from prisoners and representatives of the Russian criminals. He allegedly registered the acquired real estate to his wife.
On May 6, it was reported that the convicts of correctional colony No. 2 (IK-2) in the city of Salavat (Bashkiria) did not recognize Zviad Tbilissky as a thief in law. Such a decision was made by the local “proprietor” (a representative of criminal authorities) of IK-2, having received instructions from Eduard Asatryan (Edik Osetrina) and a number of thieves who were in his entourage. According to Asatryan and his supporters, Ozmanov worked closely with the administration of all places of detention in which he found himself, and carried out all the directives of the jailers.
