Bloomberg: Apple's VR headset will be designed for next-generation gaming and communications multimedia and communication. This is reported by 9to5mac.
Journalists refer to the Power On newsletter from Bloomberg author Mark Gurman. In his report, the specialist said that he does not consider the future VR headset from the American company to be a full-fledged replacement for a smartphone, as many experts positioned it. According to him, first of all, the device will be focused on launching games: “Apple is positioning the device as a dream for game developers.”
That is why, the author explained, the gadget will receive several processors, a fan, displays with extremely high resolution and its own app store. Gurman also believes that the named VR device will be designed for communication of a new format. “The new animoji and advanced FaceTime will make the next generation Zoom headset,” explained Mark Gurman.
Gurman previously suggested that such a device would be quite expensive. The specialist estimated the future Apple device at $ 3,000, or about 210 thousand rubles.
At the end of November, the authoritative insider Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the first VR headset from Apple will be released at the end of 2022 … The analyst noted that the VR headset will work independently of a computer or smartphone and support a “wide range of applications”.
