Russians disclosed spending on New Year's gifts

RT: Russians are on average ready to spend up to 13 thousand rubles on New Year's gifts relatives and friends. This is reported by RT with reference to a study of the SuperJob service.

According to the survey, the average budget of Russian residents for these costs is 13 thousand rubles. At the same time, Moscow is ready to spend an average of 17 thousand rubles, in Khabarovsk and Rostov-on-Don – 16 thousand rubles, and in St. Petersburg – 15 thousand rubles. At the same time, residents of Novosibirsk (12.3 thousand rubles) and Samara (12.2 thousand rubles) have the most economical budgets for gifts.

It is noted that the majority of respondents (66 percent) are going to buy gifts for their relatives … 32 percent of those surveyed said that they would give something to their loved ones, and 19 percent – friends. 16 percent of Russians are planning to refuse to buy gifts.

Earlier, retailers warned Russians about the rise in prices for artificial Christmas trees, as well as real trees, up to 30 percent due to an increase in purchase prices and logistics costs. The cost of artificial desktop Christmas trees varies from 49 to 279 rubles, 14.2 thousand rubles will have to be paid for a pine tree with a height of 2.1 meters made of plastic, and a four-meter artificial spruce will cost almost 30 thousand rubles.
