The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 28 million rubles from two Russians

Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation: kidnappers of two men were detained in Volzhsky and demanded a ransom of 28 million rubles two kidnappers who demanded a ransom of 28 million rubles from the victims for their release. According to the investigation, the attackers kidnapped two men from Volgograd by deception, took away their phones and brought them to one of the hotels to Volzhsky. There they beat the hostages and demanded a ransom of 28 million rubles from them.

A criminal case was initiated against the abductors under Articles 163 (“Extortion”) and 126 (“Abduction of a person from mercenary motives”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided.
