Russian spending on New Year's gifts disclosed

At the same time, only eight percent of respondents found it difficult to answer how much they are willing to spend for the New Year holidays. Last year, 20 percent of the respondents were undecided about spending on gifts.

“It turned out that 46 percent of respondents are ready to spend more than three thousand rubles on gifts: every fifth (25 percent) – from three to five thousand rubles, 11 percent – from five to seven thousand, five percent – from seven to nine thousand and five percent – more than nine thousand rubles “, – will be specified in the study.

At the same time, almost half of the respondents (45 percent) plan to purchase gifts in regular stores, another 34 percent will buy them in supermarkets. In online marketplaces and online stores, 26 percent of Russians gathered to look for gifts for loved ones.

Among the most desired gifts, Russians named money (30 percent), electronics and smartphones (18 percent each). 16 percent of respondents want to receive cosmetics, perfumery and personal care products as a gift, another 15 percent dream of traveling.

1054 people from different cities of Russia took part in the study.

Previously Santa Claus from a Moscow estate said that modern children ask for gadgets for the New Year. “They are asking for what they are, the stupid word is“ gadgets ”.
