Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Turkish television.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of state discussed the Transcaucasus, Ukraine, Libya and Syria.
