Moscow police colonel detained for selling positions in the Tax Service

The chief of police in Rostokino is suspected of selling a position in the Federal Tax Service of the Samara Region high position in the Federal Tax Service for the Samara Region. On December 1, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Moscow opened a criminal case against Colonel Gotsulyak, the chief of police for Rostokino under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. – for fraud and mediation in a bribe. After that, on Thursday, December 2, Gotsulyak was detained. In addition to the police chief, there are still unidentified persons in the case.

Criminal cases were initiated on the basis of the FSB, according to which in March and April 2019 Gotsulyak and his accomplices received 84.6 million rubles from an unknown man “for assistance in appointment to the position of head or deputy head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service for the Samara Region. ”

It is assumed that Gotsulyak committed the crime without working for the police. The source of the publication notes that from 2017 to 2021, Gotsulyak was out of service. He was appointed Chief of the Rostokino District Police Department in November 2021.
