An educational medical portal on cancer prevention “Everything is not in vain” appeared in Russia

An educational medical portal on cancer prevention “Everything is not in vain” appeared in Russia, intended both for the healthy population and for patients and their loved ones. This is reported in a press release from the fund of medical solutions “Not in vain”, received in “Lenta.ru”.

The project unites four patient services of the fund into a single ecosystem and makes access to information and assistance easier and more efficient. It is noted that the portal is intended for those who are interested or forced to know more about oncology.

The service consists of four sections that previously functioned separately. The first, “Screen”, is a test for determining personal recommendations for the prevention and early diagnosis of cancer. Over the five years of its operation, more than 409,000 tests have been performed.

Just Ask is an online referral service for patients and their loved ones, which helps to find answers to questions about cancer treatment and prevention. At the moment, seven thousand people have already filled out an application and received recommendations from experts.

The third block is called “Prevention of Media”. This is an educational project about evidence-based medicine and oncology, producing more than 65 exclusive publications a year.

And finally, the last, fourth section – “Onko Wiki” – is created as a reference book with answers to most questions about cancer. At the moment, the section on breast cancer is completely ready.

The Foundation for Medical Solutions “Not in vain” is a non-profit organization that has been implementing systemic projects in the field of Russian medicine since 2010. Among his projects, in particular, the first in Russia grant program for talented oncologists, the Higher School of Oncology, the popular scientific media about evidence-based medicine and the prevention of various diseases “Prevention.Media” and others. All programs of the fund are free.
