The film “Unknown Ershov” by Tyumen documentary filmmaker Larisa Solovieva was awarded at an international festival in Moscow. This was reported by the Tyumenskaya Line news agency.

The tape received a special diploma at the XXVI International Film and TV Festival Radonezh. The creator of the tape said that she works on the Tyumensky Vremya TV channel, where a series of documentary projects about the region and the people who created it have been launched.

When making a film about [the poet and prose writer] Pyotr Ershov, the film crew was assisted by the excellent staff of the Ishim Museum Complex, who provided incredibly complete materials and documents about the storyteller, “Solovyova said.

She added that she was also the troupe of the Ishim theater was involved, which helped to recreate the ceremony of selling the baby on the screen. The shooting took place not only in Tyumen, but in St. Petersburg and Tobolsk. At the same time, video and animation were combined in the film.

Larisa Solovyova said that filming lasted only two weeks, but post-production took almost six months. The documentary filmmaker sent an application for participation in the festival almost on the last day and did not expect an award, since her work did not quite correspond to the theme of the competition.
