The father of Khalitov, who criticizes the head of Chechnya, Kadyrov, threatened to kill his son for the sake of his silence
The father of Khasan Khalitov, a native of Chechnya living in Turkey, who criticizes the leadership of the republic, recorded a video message. The entry appeared on the Instagram account of the deputy of the Chechen parliament Magomed Khanbiev; the translation from the Chechen language is quoted by the publication Kavkaz.Realii (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent) .
In the video, a man asks his son to “stop talking this nonsense” and leave everyone alone. “I didn’t raise you to leave and say such things from afar. I thought that in my old age you would be my assistant. I was proud of you and raised you. Now what? You became my enemy, you went there and from there you talk to me. You have opposed me and do not do what I say, ”he said.
According to Khalitov's father, his son was lying when announcing the detention of his relatives. “Stop saying that they took us away. This was nothing. Allah is witness to this. And you know that perfectly well. Probably, you were forced, which is why you say so. And tell your friends to stop. Leave your speculation. I would not be offended if you were telling the truth, but you say what is not, what you do not know, ”the man said and threatened that he was ready to silence his son by killing him.
In October, Khalitov stated that he had tried to meet with the Chechen leadership during their visit to Turkey, but received no response. The blogger reacted in this way to the publication of the Minister of Press Akhmed Dudayev, in which the head of the region said that he had visited several cities in Turkey and did not find “shaitans” from the republic there.
Later he made an appointment with Dudayev, as well as his personal guard head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov. According to Khalitov, Dudayev contacted him, and also said earlier that during his visit to Turkey he did not find any of the critics of the Chechen authorities there.
In September it was reported that his brother had been kidnapped in the Achkhoi-Martan district of Chechnya and father Khalitov. In Moscow, his twin brother, Hussein, was also kidnapped and taken to Chechnya.
Not long before that, information appeared that in Istanbul, unknown assailants had beaten a supporter of Kadyrov. The authors of the anonymous blog claim that the beaten man got acquainted in Turkey with Chechens who wanted to return to their homeland, and promised to solve their problems.
