2GIS compiled the top districts of Moscow in terms of the number of traffic cameras

2GIS found out in which districts there are more cameras in Moscow and what violations they record How rapidly their number has grown in recent years can be seen in the time-lapse. And at the end – check if you know all the cameras on the usual route.

Most of the cameras are concentrated in Tverskoy, Tagansky and Presnensky districts – 154, 115 and 105, respectively.
In the Tverskoy District, there are three times more cameras recording parking violations than there are speed cameras (86 versus 25). There are more parking cameras in Tverskoy than in any other district of Moscow. In Taganskoye, their number is the same: 35 for parking and the same for speed. At the same time, Taganskoye has the largest number of dummies in Moscow (9) and cameras at a traffic light (21). Presnenskoye has more speed cameras (48), parking is controlled by 33 devices, intersection and traffic lights – 14.

The top ten Moscow districts with the largest number of cameras also include Ramenki (99), Danilovsky (91), Dorogomilovo (81), Mozhaisky (77), Khamovniki (76), Mitino (75) and Sosenskoye (72). In all of them, the most common type of cameras is for speed.
