On the banks of the Meleuz River, the friends fought, during the fight, both fell off a cliff into the water. The accused kept the opponent's head under water until he stopped showing signs of life. The next day, taking advantage of his work in the ritual service, he took the body of the victim to the cemetery and hid it in someone else's grave. An eyewitness to the murder, frightened of the reprisal, almost immediately left Kumertau for Moscow.

After he was interrogated, it became clear what happened to the 25-year-old resident of Kumertau and who was responsible for his disappearance.

The accused admitted his guilt and showed in which grave he hid the victim's body. The investigation has been completed, the criminal case under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”) has been sent to court.
