Russian MMA fighter Emelianenko asked for revenge from Brazilian Santos and received consent 
Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko after the defeat to the opponent tournament AMC Fight Nights 106 asked him for revenge. This is reported by Match TV.
“Marcio, I told all the fighters whom I beat once that they could ask me for revenge. Will you give me revenge? ” – the Russian turned to his opponent. He agreed and promised that he would beat the enemy again.
In response, Emelianenko advised him to continue training and not stop. He remembered the words of his brother Fyodor: “He who did not fall did not get up.” Santos also challenged Magomed Ismailov.
The Russian mixed style fighter lost in the main match of the AMC Fight NIghts 106 tournament in Syktyvkar. The fight ended ahead of schedule in the first round. Santos managed to use a chokehold and force Emelianenko to surrender. Thus, Emelianenko suffers the ninth defeat in his professional career.
