The center of Gamaleya answered the question about the need for a new version of “Sputnik V”

Gunzburg: there is still no need to upgrade Sputnik V due to a new strain from Botswana – for a new strain of coronavirus, it may be needed only in case of a significant decrease in the effectiveness of the drug – by 8-10 times. So, to the question about the need to modernize Sputnik V, the director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Alexander Gintsburg, answered his words.
