Russians warned about the rise in price of smartphones

Izvestia: prices for smartphones in 2022 may grow by 17%

Prices for smartphones in Russia in 2022 may rise by 15-17 percent. Izvestia writes about this.

This forecast was given to the publication by Mikhail Dogadin, Vice President for Procurement and Development of Svyaznoy. At the same time, analysts from Mobile Research Group added, in the first quarter of next year, growth may amount to 10 percent.

Experts associate the rise in prices for electronics with a shortage of components, as well as with global logistics problems.

On November 25, it was reported that car prices would rise in 2022. At the same time, according to Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, the situation will not change at least until the middle, and maybe until the end of 2022 due to a shortage of microchips and collapsed logistics. He noted that if next year prices remain at the level of the current year, “it will be just happiness.” However, most likely, the cost of cars will rise by 10-20 percent, he said.
