Russian lawyer killed son-in-law for money and dismembered him

Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation: a suspect in the murder of a man found in a well was detained in Vladivostok whose dismembered remains were found in the well. This was reported to “Lente.ru” in the Primorsky Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

A 60-year-old man, who is the father-in-law of the deceased, was involved in the crime. The detainee works as a lawyer, says Interfax.

Fragments of the body, wrapped in a bag, were found on November 24 in a well on Pushkinskaya Street in Vladivostok. The deceased was on the wanted list, he went missing at the beginning of the summer.

According to investigators, on the evening of June 25 at home between the suspect and his son-in-law there was a conflict over a million rubles. The father-in-law accused the relative of stealing money, and then threatened to kill him if he did not return it. Then the suspect, who was intoxicated, shot at his son-in-law. To cover up the murder, he dismembered the victim and threw it into the well.

The question of arresting the suspect is currently under consideration.
