The State Duma proposed to increase the tax deduction by one million rubles for the purchase of housing for families with children. This is reported by RT with reference to the deputy Ivan Sukharev.
The initiative of the deputy assumes that the amount of the deduction will increase by the specified amount for each child. It will be possible to return 13 percent of personal income tax (PIT) from it. At the moment, the amount from which a deduction can be obtained should not exceed two million rubles.
Sukharev explained his proposal by his desire to support spouses raising children, noting that “creating conditions for the comprehensive development of children is the basis of state policy in the field of supporting families. ”
Earlier, the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, proposed to prohibit the deprivation of the only housing for families with minor children. When making deals with housing, banks will need to take into account the solvency of clients.
