Moscow has announced the resumption of street festivals. New Year's fairs and skating rinks will also start functioning this winter, the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“We have already made a decision: we will hold all the festivals. To carry out in the mode of trade, installations. We will hold master classes, indoor work and concerts only if the situation allows, ”he said. According to Sobyanin, the festivals will fully return to Moscow when the pandemic ends.
The mayor added that the city is already being decorated, and the Journey to Christmas festival will definitely take place. “Skating rinks will work, chalets and New Year's trade will work. Everything will work. And I think that all the other festivals will at least continue in the same mode, “he added.
