The Russian Pension Fund has changed the procedure for the provision of services

The Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) changed the procedure for the provision of services. From now on, it will be possible to receive at the branches until January 1, 2022 only by appointment, by e-mail or by phone, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

According to the publication, the Ministry of Justice registered the relevant temporary procedure for the provision of public services. In addition, now pensions and payments will be assigned on the basis of the data available to the fund. The Russians will be informed about the decision and, if necessary, will be invited to provide additional documents.

This procedure will apply to services for the establishment and payment of insurance pensions, funded pensions, as well as pensions for state pensions, the establishment of cash payments to certain categories of Russian citizens, the implementation of compensations for unemployed able-bodied Russians who care for disabled citizens.

The same procedure is provided for services for considering an application for the disposal of maternity capital, providing compensation for the cost of travel to a vacation spot in the country and back, who receive insurance pensions for old age and disability, or live in the Far North. The same procedure applies to the establishment of a federal social supplement to pensions, payments to Russians who care for disabled people, compensation for expenses when moving from the Far North, issuance of a certificate for mother capital.

On November 21, it was reported that in Russia from January 1 In 2022, the procedure for the payment of pensions and control over their accrual will change. In particular, it will be possible to pay and deliver pensions in the territory where the emergency regime has been introduced, regardless of its nature – federal, interregional, regional, intermunicipal, municipal or local, earlier this month.
