Russia will submit a declaration against terrorist use of the Internet

Russia has prepared a declaration against the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes Foreign Affairs of the OSCE. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia, Maria Zakharova.

“For the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers, Russia has prepared a draft declaration on the current topic of countering the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes. We count on his support, “Zakharova said.

The annual meeting of the foreign ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States will be held in Stockholm on December 2-3. At the meeting, representatives of the Foreign Ministry will consider and assess the security situation in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian space, as well as the work of the organization in all areas of its activities.

On November 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister Sweden Ann Linde, during which the parties discussed the preparation of documents for the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
