Russian stock market opened with growth

The Moscow Exchange Index rose 1.23 percent at the opening of trading

The Russian stock market opened with the growth of the main stock indices on Wednesday, November 24. The Moscow Exchange index at the opening of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange rose to 4008.96 points (plus 1.23 percent), the RTS index – up to 1700.54 points (plus 2.3 percent).

The growth leaders ” blue chips “of the Moscow Exchange at 10:10 were TCS Group (plus 3.93 percent, up to 7325 rubles per share), Polyus (plus 0.5 percent, up to 14,825 rubles) and Polymetal (plus 0.47 percent , up to 1381.3 rubles). The growth in the value of TCS Group shares was driven by the positive financial results for the third quarter. Most of all, the securities fell in price for Novatek (minus 0.88 percent, to 1,650.6 rubles), Rosneft (minus 0.42 percent, to 599.1 rubles) and MTS (minus 0.34 percent, to 306.4 ruble).

The ruble continued to fall in price at the opening of trading. The dollar exchange rate was 74.52 rubles (plus 0.23 rubles), the euro exchange rate was 83.78 rubles (plus 0.23 rubles). Bitcoin traded at $ 56,551.1 per coin (plus 0.3 percent).
