“On November 24, Putin will hold a regular meeting with members of the government of the Russian Federation. The main topic of the meeting is to ensure the level of wages of certain categories of public sector employees established by presidential decrees, “the message says.
The President said that salaries in the public sector should be transparent, understandable and fair, it is necessary to take into account income each specific specialist, “and not just averaged indicators.” At the same time, he stressed that the emerging difficulties should be “constantly analyzed.”
In addition, a number of topical current issues will be considered. The head of state also instructed “to see separately how the norms that establish the ratio of the salaries of employees and heads of institutions are being observed.” A double and non-transparent interpretation of the parameters for calculating salaries for state officials is unacceptable, and the calculation method itself needs to be improved, Putin said at the time.
On the eve, on November 22, Putin approved a law on amending the Labor Code that concerns electronic document management. It will allow employees to get jobs in other regions, be interviewed remotely and conclude employment contracts. And at the end of last week, he introduced to the State Duma amendments to increase the minimum wage (minimum wage) and the living wage by 8.6 percent.
