The State Duma may consider in the first reading draft laws on the introduction of QR codes on December 16 
At a plenary session on December 16, QR codes on vaccination against COVID-19 or past illness in public places and in transport, follows from the draft decree on the calendar of consideration of issues by the chamber from December 7 to 22. The document was submitted to the Duma electronic database the day before, on November 23.
The draft resolution on the calendar sets the date for consideration of initiatives on QR codes – December 16. It is assumed that the State Duma will consider the bills in the first reading. The agency plans to study the project on the calendar itself on November 25.
Earlier, Russia assessed the possibility of adopting a law on QR codes before the New Year. A RIA Novosti source questioned this, since, according to the rules, the discussion of initiatives requires a monthly distribution of data on Russian subjects.
On November 12, the State Duma introduced draft amendments on the use of QR codes confirming the fact of vaccination against coronavirus or postponed for the last six months of the disease. Initiatives will be sent for consideration to the Russian regions, the Public Chamber, the Accounts Chamber and the Federation Council until December 14 inclusive.
