“I have made a resolution to amend this resolution, primarily it concerns persons who have reached 60 years of age and suffer from chronic diseases and those who do not have medical outlets, “said the Historian.

According to her, in addition to elderly residents, students over 18 years old and civil servants were also added to the decree. She noted that 50 percent of residents over 60 years old have been vaccinated in the Leningrad region at the moment.

According to the headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, 425 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the Leningrad region over the past day. The total number of cases during the entire pandemic in the region reached 88,124.

Earlier, the authorities of another Russian region – the Pskov region – introduced mandatory vaccination for adult students of universities and colleges.
