An 11-year-old woman tried to get pregnant by all means and at 50 she became a single mother 
A resident of Sydney, Australia, 54-year-old Manda Upton spent 75,000 Australian dollars (four million rubles) on starting a dream family and became a single mother at 50. Her story is published by the Daily Mirror.
Upton, a native of Great Britain, began struggling with infertility at the age of 39. At that time, she had already been in a relationship for 10 years, but after they deteriorated, the woman broke up with her lover and continued independent attempts to become a mother.
For 11 years, she underwent treatment and tried to get pregnant with all possible ways. “I started spending all my income and savings on fertility treatments. In one of the clinics I was referred to a psychotherapist, who told me that I must come to terms with the fact that at 43 I will no longer be able to have children, ”Upton said.

During the entire treatment period, she underwent 13 in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, only one of which led to a pregnancy that lasted only eight weeks. According to the British woman, she was in despair, but the dream of becoming a mother did not leave her, and she decided to fight further.
Seeing the torment of Upton, her friend invited her to go to a clinic in South Africa, where she herself underwent treatment. The woman followed her friend's advice, went to a clinic in Cape Town and chose an egg donor from South Africa and a sperm donor from Denmark.
After two embryos were transferred to the British woman, she returned to Australia. Seven weeks later, she came for a routine examination and found out that she was pregnant with twins. Upton said that the first five months of pregnancy were difficult due to severe toxicosis.
Despite a difficult pregnancy, the woman managed to give birth to two healthy daughters.
