More than 100 Rosneft-class students became finalists of the program for gifted children 
children – a joint project of Rosneft and the Educational Foundation “Talent and Success”. The final round is attended by 108 Rosneft-classes students from 16 regions of the company's presence, who have scored the largest number of points based on the results of the distance competition. In total, 1,038 students from Rosneft-classes have registered to participate in the program this year. Rosneft told Lente.ru about this.
The final stage of the program for gifted children is a career guidance event for high school students. With the help of VR and AR technologies, they will have to create exhibits for a virtual museum dedicated to the history of the development of the oil and gas industry. The finalists will work as part of project teams led by teachers from the Sirius Lyceum and experts from Rosneft enterprises. Based on the results of the super final, the best projects will be determined.
This is the fourth partnership program between Rosneft and the Talent and Success Foundation. After graduating from school, 100 percent of participants in previous years entered universities, while the absolute majority went to the company-specific areas of training.
The Rosneft-2022 strategy provides for support of state policy in the field of education and development of human resources. Rosneft has created a corporate system of continuing education “School – University – Enterprise” with the aim of attracting talented, professionally trained youth to the company. With the support of Rosneft, 108 Rosneft-classes are currently operating in 21 regions of the country, in which 2,371 schoolchildren study. The training is conducted according to programs with in-depth study of mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science with the involvement of leading teachers of the company's regional partner universities.
