The Kremlin assessed the possibility of introducing additional restrictions against the background of COVD-19

Peskov: the dynamics of the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia is currently going down against the background of the situation with COVD-19, since the dynamics of the incidence is currently decreasing. This opportunity was appreciated by the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.

“You are running ahead of the New Year holidays, there is a lot of time before the New Year holidays,” said the press secretary of the Russian president, answering a question from journalists.

Peskov stressed that all countries of the world are making incredible efforts to convince their citizens to raise the level of herd immunity through active vaccination.

Earlier it became known that the authorities of Ugra were the first in Russia to introduce mandatory self-isolation for the unvaccinated, the measure will take effect for residents of Nefteyugansk, Nyagan, Urai and Kondinsky settlements from November 22 to December 5. It is clarified that the restriction will not affect citizens who have had coronavirus within six months and have supporting documents. Unvaccinated residents will be able to leave their homes to visit grocery stores, pharmacies, take out garbage and help elderly relatives.

Over the past day, 33,996 new cases of coronavirus have been identified in Russia. Thus, the total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic in the country amounted to 9,400,835.
