Putin has banned the sending of employees with children to work overtime

We are talking about work on weekends and non-working holidays, as well as at night. Such employees can be sent on business trips only if they have confirmed their consent in writing.

The restrictions apply to citizens who are raising three or more children under the age of 18, and the youngest is under 14. It also includes a single parent or guardian raising a child under the age of 14, and a parent of a child whose other parent works on a rotational basis.

Similar conditions are also introduced for disabled people, parents raising disabled children, and citizens caring for sick family members.

On the eve of November 22, Putin approved a law on another amendment to the Labor Code, which concerns electronic document management. It will allow employees to get jobs in other regions, be interviewed remotely and conclude employment contracts. And at the end of last week, he introduced amendments to the State Duma to increase the minimum wage (minimum wage) and the living wage by 8.6 percent.
